Workshop July 25th, we will be making this purse card holder which holds 6 postcards or 4 cards and envelopes. What a great gift for teachers, co-workers, neighbors and the list goes on.

It's been awhile since I've posted. I was sick and then went on vacation, but, now I'm back to doing cards again. We did embroidery on cards last week and had a ball doing them.

Inches...for the cat and snowflake cards just did basic layering and dimensional layering. For the purple card used Stamp Zia sprays, bleach, pencils, 3 different colo ink pads, mulberry paper and smooch paint. Had a ball doing that card.

Used Marvy markers for a watercolor technique. Stamp set T517 Flowers and Holly

Funshops dates are: Friday, May 28th and Saturday May 29th.

May 21 and May 22 workshop. Critter cards using the cricut and create a critter cartridge.

With Father's Day around the corner we decided to celebrate the "Guys" in our lives. We are making Guy cards for this week's FunShop. With one of these cards we will be using fabric to cut in the cricut, stamp on, watercolor on and use as a background. These cards are not just for Father's day.

April 16th and April 17th's FunShop is making Criss Cross Cards. You will make 3 beautiful cards one card has embossing and one card is blending watercolor pencils with a dove or tombow blender marker. Sign up for your seat today as class is filling up. Class for April 9 and 10, Double Slider Cards. We will use set set T2688 Spring Dreams. You will make 3 cards and 2 will be the slider cards. Amaze you friends and family with these adorable cards.

Backgrounds is the funshop this week. We will be making different backgrounds using common household items. You will make the
Background for this weeks funshop. You will make these 3 cards using common hosehold items to create bakgrounds. Plus you will make a couple of backgrounds to take home with you.

This is the next Funshop I am having. We are making 5 black and white cards with a little bit of color. Plus the gift bag to hold the cards in. Great idea for Mother's day, birthday, thank you or a just because gift.

Hope Josh likes his birthday card. I am leaving for Virginia tomorrow to see my daughter and her family. It's Josh's 10th birthday and I made him this card using my paper doll cartridge from cricut. I'm proud of myself as I do more and more with the cricut.

Spiral Pop Up cards. Interesting technique for making an adorable card to make the recipient smile. All it takes is one little circle. The flower card was using the cricut cartidge forever young. For the bird cards I used set TB3149 - unexpected joys.

This week's workshop is Iris Folding. We will be making all seven cards using the folding technique. Put in a variety of material that can be used when Iris Folding, such as paper, tissue paper and ribbon.

This workshop was "Stairs" as each card is a different stair step. I have been using my cricut so much lately that I think the machine wants to retire. On the rabbit card I just cartridge Easter 2010 for the eggs and grass and cartridge new arrival for the bunny. On the flower pot I used cartridge forever young for the flowers, and cartridge walk in my garden for the flower pot. Martha Stewart large border were used on the owl card along with Artsy Owl set T3038.

We used set T3247 Easter Chicks from the Angel Company> The set has 7 pieces and can be purchased through me or you can go to www.josie.ismyangel.net and purchased the set. You can find this set in the Serendipity catalog. The card with the 2 chicks we did a puzzle technique, then glitter the pieces and stamped the image on acetae. For the stages of an egg we colored with a dove blender and chalks. The daisy card was cricut cartridge Wild Card and stamp with the HAppy Easter stamp from the stamp set.

Another great workshop using "TAC" kit T2698 tickled pink. We did 3 different card styles one was the window, the easel and a regular style. Also used was a 2 inch scallop square punch to make the window, the cuttlebug for water and the cricut with cartridge Life is a Beach for the palm tree and aloha.

My Valentine's Day card for the grandkids. I made them all spinner cards. As I have 3 boys I didn't think ribbon would look good for them. So on their cards I used red hearts and put colored letter beads inside each heart to spell the word love. The stamps used came from "TAC" sets hugs and kisses T3261 for the bear, brighten girl TA3264 for the girl and little darlins T3266 for the dog. I colored them all with glitter pens to make they sparkle.

A birthday card from Jackie using stamp set T3067- True Beauty. This card was done as an easel card (which is next weeks class). Jackie is part of my design team and helps make a lot of the cards samples. Thank you Jackie for another terrific card.

MY next FUNshop is waterfall cards. We are doing 2 waterfall cards and as a special treat one last Valentine's Day pop up card. The pets waterfall card is blending watercolor pencils and the butterfly card waterfall card is using H2O's. Valentine's day cards from "dizzy day" FUNshop. The cards all have a moveable part, there was the spinner window card, view master card and the penny spinner card. I also throw in a couple of cricut, cuttlebug and color pencil blending ideas.

Another card by Jackie using set t2034 a wittle things. Jackie came over and played with my stamps and this card was created with a little of this and a little of that. The background was embossed using a cuttlebug folder then colored with H2O's, the stem was a left over from a cricut cut out.
